Sketch Club App Reviews

As always, this update is superb (for anyone who cant find the on/erase/etc brush setting, theyre under another tab). Ive been using this app for over a year and any bugs have been worked out quickly. Im just hoping this one does too: my canvas keeps jumping when I zoom, meaning I cannot fineline over an artwork...! I go to zoom in and it spazes out, jumping to another location. Im a bit upset, mostly because I am zoomed in half the time I draw. Please fix this soon, BP :) Other than that, superb app as always

Professional artist, my favorite digital art app, easiest to use, still consider this the single best art purchase I have ever made. I learned to create digital art using sketch club (I bought them all after buying my first iPad 4 years ago and found this one easiest to learn). Produces work which prints beautifully. My 7 year old niece and my 70+ year old mom also use this app, we all love it.

Its a great painting/drawing app. It rivals Procreate, with almost the same features. Seems very staple, too. The only feature I miss is cut and paste. The only work around to that is to dupe a layer and erase what you dont want. But it has the ability to "mirror" draw symmetrically, and you can blur with a brush as well as smudge. And post your work to an online community...very nice app!

With the new update I cant pinch the canvas to rest the size to its original setting and now I cant get any work done without having to save my progress and close the application, just so I can reopen it and itll be at its original size. Hopefully this will be fixed soon, though!

Im really impressed with this new update, because the focus is on your own personal shortcut bar! It was tricky at first, yet Im starting to get used to it. My workflow has increased being able to tap customizable buttons rather than flip through different menus. Im grateful for Sketch Clubs growth and development with each update and Im really excited for the next one. I love for a future update to have the ability to have a ruler at you could rotate rather than a line you have to anchor. Same for the circle function so I could draw circles freehand. Also I love the folder and I wish you could make folders brushes to keep that organized as well. Aside from that, Im very happy and thanks again

I love Sketch Club. I love the new update. I love to draw. Unfortunately with the new update, when I hit the save button and close out of the app completely, then come back in later to work on my drawing again, it is all gone. All the hard work I put into the same picture over and over again is gone every time I get back on, whether I hit save or not. It always says that it saved, but I never see any result of it. I would give this app 5 stars if it wasnt for that issue, but since it has proved to be a problem every single time no matter what I do to save it, I am only giving it 3 stars. I dont have the time to work on an entire picture all at once, but if I want to finish a drawing that is what I have to do. Again, I love everything else about this app except for this new problem I have come across with the new update.

By far the best drawing app Ive used!

This is a wonderful sketch app. - that does everything I want in creating - watercolor, paint, pixels, textured, ink and what ever your mind can come up with! Love that I can make my own brushes, frame with my own design and be able to take it to whatever level of - from an idea to professional presentation I want ! As an artist that has painted in oils, acrylics ,inks and pastels, it is wonderful to have an app. that will mimic the mediums I love and need only the iPad and Sketch Club app.to take with me on trips!

I have my own little design business for teacher resources and have been looking for a drawing program that will do the things this one does. (Mainly, that would be steady stroke capabilities on an iPad Pro.) I have purchased so many programs that just missed out by one feature. This program, is easy to use and I dont have to switch between programs to accomplish everything I need to. I must admit that I was hesitant to buy Sketch Club for a while because the name just didnt sound serious enough. I guess it goes back to the old "judging a bok by its cover." Anyway, I am exceedingly happy with Sketch Club.

I absolutely love this app. It has opened up a whole new world of digital art. The artists are very nice. There are classes easily available and the compos and challenges are excellent. I would highly recommend this wonderful app. Linda T

It wont let me upload my drawings to YouTube. Other then its a awesome app

After two years, Im still learning so much with it. With a off-line drawing interface youll love, plus a world wide community with daily challenges, weekly compos, and special interest group events, it will keep you interested and drawing as often as you wish. *You can organize your art in folders. There are dozens of free classes and tutorials too, to help you keep getting better. Its appropriate for all levels of ability and talent! When I first got the app, I felt the layers modes were daunting. But I drew on one mode only, and it was just like drawing on paper. Before long, I was using multiple layers on all my drawings. Its versatility makes it appropriate for kids to draw, and for the most talented artists to produce amazing art, and for everyone in between. *For a very reasonably priced app without in-app purchases, it rivals the best very high-priced drawing programs. Gotta love it!

Forget the Photoshop...They cant touch you at all :-) on the go app...YES!!

I am a professional Tattooer and I use this app every day at work. This app looks simple at first, but has extremely powerful and flexible tools for illustration, painting and sketching. The tools are arranged in a thoughtful way and are easy to use, however if you dig down into all the settings and customizations there is not a lot this program cant do. Comparisons to Photoshop; it does not have a proper magic wand, but there are ways around it. I have all but stopped using all other drawing apps on my iPad Pro. The only negative thing I can say about it has to do with the Club part of the app. When navigating the Club community the buttons seem slow to respond when trying to load different pages.

Iam Shurup #instartist (IGapp) as many know Im either working on a sketch or just about to finish one . Therefore , I do have a modest interest at the very lest I have to feel comfortable in both the functions of the app as it is but adding room to grow as SketchClub.com is showing , teaching , and they listen got to love it for the last 5 years and will continue too love . I do recommend use of a styli for drawing on touch screens . 5 STARS !

Still love SketchClub, and the amazing artists there. Even if you arent an artist, just being able to look at all of the amazing artwork would be worth the price. However, the app is a wonderful way to broaden your artistic skill! Been on Sketch Club for close to 3 years now, and its still my favorite app, favorite hobby, and favorite group of people anywhere. Helpful and encouraging artists share their skills with novices like me, and are the reason Im improving! If you are an artist or would like to be, if you havent got it, get it. You wont be disappointed.

When ever I record it starts to get laggy then After I finish and try to sketch out some new plans its all laggy and wont let me go all smooth... :( like why did u do this to mee! Also I have a YouTube channel named Dojo Draws Subscribe if you want :p

I love the tools, the fill feature, the layers... I have several drawing apps, but I keep coming back to this one. Oh, the 4-way drawing trick is pretty cool too.

I will preface by saying Im on an iPad Pro. I love the tools this app offers, the community templates and brushes are a great resource. And, I enjoy the online Sketch Club community. Check out the tutorials! My friends ask if Im ever going to go back to traditional media. Right now, Im just having too much fun!
